Digital paintings using XP-Pen Star 06 digital tablet (program Krita)

Here are a couple of digital paintings I did in Krita using my XP-Pen Star 06 tablet.

I used various brush tools to create an alpine landscape scene with distant snow-capped mountains.  The foreground was drawn using a texture tool and is dotted with tiny wildflowers.

There are lots of great painting tools on Krita. Here I've added a starfield and glow effect to the moon. I've also highlighted particular areas of the undergrowth based on the moon as the light source.

The glow effect tool is really great for creating atmosphere.  Here I've taken the digital painting I made above, removed the starfield and added stars using a pen tool, then added a vehicle stopped and braking near the fence.
